National Wildlife Week

The National Wildlife Federation (NWF) is promoting its National Wildlife Week from March 19th to the 25th. National Wildlife Week was first celebrated in 1938 and has continued as an annual tradition.

During this week the NWF promotes appreciation of wildlife through educational programs and events. It also serves as a time to appreciate those who work with wildlife and promote education and conservation efforts as a part of their careers (such as wildlife biologists, wildlife rehabilitators, zoologists, fish & game wardens, and zoo keepers).
