The New Bolton Center, part of the University of Pennsylvania, has announced the upcoming topics for its "First Tuesday" equine lecture series. These informative lectures on veterinary topics are presented on the first Tuesday of each month.
The next lecture, scheduled for April 3rd, will focus on recognizing equine emergency situations that require immediate veterinary attention. The May 1st lecture will address equine first aid techniques and emergency stabilization. The June 5th lecture will discuss equine eye cancer. Each lecture is presented by an equine veterinarian with advanced knowledge of the topic; many are certified in their veterinary specialty.
The lectures are free to the public, and registration can be completed online through the University of Pennsylvania.
